5 Week Business Kick Start Programme



Five evening workshops over five weeks – for FREE. Run by local business experts, Kick Start teaches business basics to get your new business off to the right start. Learn REAL business basics from REAL business owners. Spaces are limited to 25 participants, registrations are essential.

It doesn't matter if your passion is baking cakes, flying drones, art, crafts, dog walking, supporting the community, or writing blogs; These business basics apply to all.
 


What Can You Expect?


A start-up programme for those looking at, or new to, self-employment. Workshops are presented and run by five fabulous mentors, who each will take you through a two-hour workshop one evening a week for five weeks. Workshops will cover off essential business basics for new businesses,  such as self-employment versus employment, legal and accounting aspects, marketing and branding, sales, business planning, and growth. You can expect to come away with a foundation of business basics that will better your chances of business survival and success.


Your Commitment:


You will need to commit to two hours a week, for five weeks, and be prepared to put in some extra time outside of these hours. These two-hour sessions will be held from 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm every Tuesday for 5 weeks.
In registering and participating in this programme, you agree to keep anything shared by other attendees confidential.


When: Each Tuesday starting from the 18th May to the 15th June, 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm

Where: The Orchard Business and Event Hub, Level One, 35 Walton Street, Whangarei.
