    Title E-Textiles- the future of fabrics Description An introduction to constructing soft circuits.  This is a practical workshop to create working models to use in an educational setting. Participants will be designing conceptual circuits using digital technologies, as well as using smart fabrics and electronic components to sew sensing circuits.  The outcomes will be portable products that can be used as a teaching resource.  Each participant will receive their own kit and materials to take away with them.   Part of the workshop will include working with the NZ National Curriculum Technology Learning Progressions in order to scaffold learning in the Year 7-8 range and to suit participants' needs.
